Paul Conley

Paul Conley serves as CEO and Co-founder of General Inception, a venture igniter company for technical founders in need of ignition capital, technology development, and customer access. Conley is also a Venture Partner at Vertical Venture Partners, focusing on early-stage investments in B2B start-ups addressing specific industry challenges. As Managing Director for Venture Studio Operations at Paladin Capital Group, Conley specializes in expansion and growth-stage investments related to US critical infrastructure security. Additionally, Conley holds various board positions, including Board Member at Constructive Bio, Partillion Bioscience, Attune Neurosciences, and Alida Biosciences, and serves as a Board Observer for Aralez Bio. Academic credentials include a PhD in AMES (Computational Physics) and a Master's in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, alongside a dual Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
