Samuel Williams

Director, Clinical Operations at COMPASS Pathways

Samuel Williams has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Samuel began as a Placement Student at XenoGesis Limited in 2015. In 2015, they joined PAREXEL as a Project Associate, where they assisted Project Managers in delivering and managing randomization and trial supply management systems. In 2017, they moved to Covance as a Project Coordinator, supporting the Project Manager in delivering client clinical trials and coordinating maintenance of clinical systems. In the same year, they joined Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Trial Coordinator and later as a Research Manager, where they managed respiratory trials and contributed to strategic development and management of research projects and clinical trials. Since 2018, Samuel has been working at COMPASS Pathways, starting as an Associate Project Manager and progressing to roles including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and currently, Associate Director of Clinical Operations.

Samuel Williams has a Bachelor's Degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Nottingham, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Samuel also has a Bachelor's Degree in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, which they started in 2013. In addition, Samuel holds a Master's Degree in Applied Biopharmaceutical Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship (ABBE) from the University of Nottingham, which they obtained in 2015.
