Scott Echerd

Scott Echerd currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Legal, Safety, and Risk Management at Compass Group North America, a role held since July 2014. In this position, Scott oversees high-level strategic initiatives within the Corporate Legal department, focusing on safety and risk management through project management and IT/system solutions development. Prior to this, Scott worked at Maersk Line for a decade in various roles, including Process Improvement Management, Sales Account Supervisor, Billing Supervisor, and Customer Service Analyst, where a notable achievement included generating over $250,000 annually through budget and process reconciliations. Earlier experience includes managing inside sales and warranty operations at Yandle-Witherspoon Supply, which resulted in a 37% increase in annual sales, as well as overseeing daily operations at Max & Erma's restaurant. Scott holds an educational background from Gardner-Webb University.
