Pete Viri

Pete Viri is a seasoned IAM security engineer with extensive experience in managing and securing SaaS infrastructure. Currently serving as a Staff IAM Security Engineer at Compass since July 2024, Pete specializes in cloud-first environments. Prior to this, a tenure at Faire from June 2022 to March 2024 as a Senior IAM Engineer involved integrating SaaS applications into Okta, enhancing operational efficiency through automation, and collaborating on key organizational objectives. Experience at Airtable and Dropbox further included building automations for SaaS applications, deploying internal services, and supporting IT operations. Pete began a career in IT with Astreya as an IT Help Desk Technician, providing essential support for Dropbox employees. Educational credentials include a degree from San José State University, completed in January 2009.
