Doug Braddock

Doug Braddock has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Doug began their career at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a Tundra Bird Field Crew member in 1985. Doug then worked as a Bicycle Pedestrian Safety Educator at the City of Boulder from 1987 to 1990. From 1990 to 1991, they served as the Planning and Grants Administrator for the Bicycle Program at the State of Colorado.

In 1992, Doug transitioned to education and worked as a Secondary Science Teacher at the Boulder Valley School District from 1992 to 1994. After that, they briefly worked as an Open Space Ranger at Boulder County in 1995.

Doug then shifted their career to geo-spatial and data-related roles. Doug worked as a Project Lead - GIS Data Conversion at QC Data from 1995 to 1997, specializing in the conversion of paper maps into digital GIS formats. From 1997 to 2009, they joined GeoEye as a Lead Product Order Technician, where they managed the creation of IKONOS image products and also served as the Product Order Manager/Technical Manager. At GeoEye, they were also responsible for ISO document control and audits.

Doug joined GeoEye again in 2012 as the Principal Technical Support Analyst, where they specialized in the Raytheon CRSS satellite production system and performed testing, validation, and customer return analysis. Doug then transitioned to Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, in 2012 as a Geospatial Analyst.

Since 2013, Doug has been working at CompassData, Inc. as the Geospatial Quality Manager. In this role, they are responsible for FAA DO200 and ISO 9001:2015 compliance. Doug has established quality systems, communicated effectively with customers and contractors, and focused on continuous improvement.

Doug Braddock holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Doug also obtained a Secondary Science Teaching Certification, specializing in Biology and Earth Sciences, from the same institution. Additionally, they have a Certificate in GIS from the University of Denver. Doug Braddock has received various additional certifications from Lynda.com, including Operational Excellence Foundations, Learning Gantt Charts, Project Coordinator, Enhancing Your Productivity, Project Management: Solving Common Project Problems, Note-Taking for Business Professionals, Time Management Fundamentals, Leading Productive Meetings, Teamwork Foundations, and Project Management Simplified.
