Asanda Ntunta

Asanda Ntunta is an experienced analyst currently working at The Competition Commission South Africa since April 2022, focusing on managing investigations related to the Competition Act and reviewing exemption applications. Previously, Asanda held the position of Junior Analyst at the same organization, contributing to similar responsibilities. Prior experience includes serving as a researcher at the Human Sciences Research Council, where economic research was conducted and key informant interviews facilitated. Asanda has also worked as an economist at the National Treasury of South Africa, involved in policy research. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of the Western Cape, as well as coursework and an Honours degree in Economics from Stellenbosch University and the University of the Western Cape, respectively.
