Salma Kagee is an experienced economist currently serving as a Senior Economist at The Competition Commission South Africa since September 2016. Prior to this role, Kagee worked as an Economist within the same organization, following an Analyst position at Genesis Analytics from April 2014 to August 2016, and a Research Assistant role at the University of Cape Town from September 2011 to September 2013. Kagee holds a Master of Commerce in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town, completed between 2012 and 2014, and pursued undergraduate studies at both the University of Cape Town and Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
