Siyabulela Makunga

Siyabulela Makunga is a dynamic corporate leader and Chartered Public Relations Practitioner accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa. With 18 years of experience in management and leadership roles across both public and private sectors, Siyabulela has served as Acting Head of Communications at the Competition Commission of South Africa since 2020. Additionally, they have held positions such as Chairperson of the Social and Ethics Committee at the Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency and have worked with organizations like Kaizer Chiefs Football Club and Wits University. Siyabulela holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Communication from the University of Fort Hare.
