Thabelo Masithulela

Thabelo Masithulela has extensive experience in competition law, currently serving as Advisor to the Deputy Commissioner at the Competition Commission South Africa since December 2015, providing strategic advice on various cases and developments in the field. Previous roles include Principal Merger Analyst, managing Mergers and Acquisitions investigations, and Senior Manager of Regulatory at Neotel (Proprietary) Limited. Thabelo also has a background as an Investigator in Cartels and an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at the Competition Commission, and has held legal advisory positions with the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality and the Constitutional Court of South Africa. Educational qualifications include training at the Joburg School for Legal Practice.
