Amber Keller

VP Ag Lending at Compeer Financial

Amber Keller has extensive experience in agricultural lending and management. Amber currently serves as the VP of Ag Lending at Compeer Financial, leading a team of ag lenders in southern Wisconsin. Amber'sresponsibilities include new business development, loan portfolio management, team mentoring, and building industry connections. Prior to their current role, Amber worked as a Team Leader in Ag & Community Banking at Town Bank, where they provided financial products and services to farm businesses and guided the Ag & Community Banking Team in various areas. Amber also held positions as an Ag Lender & Team Mentor at UB&T (now known as Lake Ridge Bank) and as an Ag Lender & Senior Manager at Badgerland Financial (now known as Compeer Financial). Amber began their career as a Livestock Production Specialist at Land O'Lakes, Inc., where they worked with dairy and beef producers in sales and service roles. Overall, Amber's work experience spans over three decades, demonstrating their expertise in lending, management, and agricultural consulting.

Amber Keller completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1987 to 1991. After a gap of several years, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater between 2005 and 2008. In 2011, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received an Executive Education certificate in Leadership Beyond Management. Additionally, in August 2021, they completed MHFA Training and became certified in Mental Health First Aid through the Mental Health First Aid USA / National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
