Steve Wang leads the operations of CDS’s Managed Review services and focuses on overseeing CDS’s Technology Driven Review offering. He coordinates closely with the CDS Project Management and Advisory Services teams as well as law firm attorneys or corporate clients to understand clients’ goals and deadlines. The Review Management team helps develop customized document review protocols, QC protocols, and privilege review and logging protocols to ensure that they are tailored to meet client and case specific needs and adhere to best practices.
Steve has led and worked extensively on reviews of patent cases (pharmaceutical and electromechanical), antitrust matters (litigation and DOJ second requests), products liability issues, and securities actions. Additionally, Steve has managed large scale Mandarin Chinese and German reviews involving multiple review centers in several countries, and matters dealing with FCPA investigations and trade secret litigation. Prior to joining CDS, Steve led the operations of several other Managed Review companies as well as worked as an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate and Patent Prosecution Associate.
While at Albany Law School, Steve was an Associate Editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology, and graduated with a concentration in Intellectual Property. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology where his senior focus was on robotics and MEMS technology. Steve also served as a cadet non-commissioned officer of the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Steve is licensed to practice law in the State of New York as well as before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently.
Steve has been involved with charitable organizations relating to disabled US veterans and is looking to contribute further to this cause.
