Chongjun Xu

Chongjun Xu is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of genomics and molecular biology. They served as a Staff Scientist II at Affymetrix from 2012 to 2013, where they contributed to the development of the OncoScan Microarray for cancer sample analysis. Previously, from 1997 to 2006, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Hyseq/Callida, working on DNA sequencing microarrays. Currently, as a Director/Senior Director at Complete Genomics Inc., Chongjun manages the Sequencing R&D team, developing and optimizing next-generation sequencing technologies. They earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, and a BS in Chemistry from Zhejiang University.
