CLPS is a specialist lost property management partner for transport operators and passenger environments. We transform what is traditionally a fragmented, high-cost and complaint-heavy function into a controlled, measurable, and financially efficient operation.

Our operational data shows that handling lost property internally typically costs £1–£3 per item — before storage, administration and liability costs are considered. Each related complaint costs £6–£9, rising to £13+ when escalated. Across high-volume transport operations, this quickly becomes a significant hidden expense.

CLPS reduces that burden.

We centralise processes, remove internal handling pressure, and significantly reduce complaint volumes. Our matching system connects enquiries to found items in under 24 hours, delivering 60%+ repatriation rates — approximately double the industry norm. The result is measurable cost reduction, improved passenger satisfaction, and protected brand reputation.

We work with bus, rail, cruise and ferry operators to provide:
• Structured intake and registration
• Rapid enquiry-to-item matching
• Complaint reduction and escalation control
• Transparent reporting and performance visibility
• Secure storage and compliant handling

Beyond operational performance, CLPS is committed to genuine sustainability. We invest in verified carbon removal schemes exceeding 10x the CO₂ generated by collecting, processing, storing and returning items — making us a truly net-zero partner.

Lost property is often viewed as an unavoidable operational cost. We see it as an opportunity to reduce expenditure, improve customer experience, and demonstrate measurable service quality.

CLPS. Lower cost. Fewer complaints. Better outcomes.
