Stanford Kay

Stanford Kay is a seasoned principal and information graphic designer with extensive experience in data visualization and visual storytelling. Since 2012, Stanford Kay has served as the Director of Information Graphics at Complex Stories. Stanford Kay also leads Stanford Kay Studio, established in 1983, focusing on information graphics for various clients across publishing, marketing, corporate, and non-profit sectors. In addition to graphic design, Stanford Kay is recognized as a painter and fine artist, represented by several galleries in New York. Previous roles include Information Graphic Artist/Assistant Editor at Newsweek from 1994 to 2009 and Senior Graphic Designer at Soho Weekly News from 1976 to 1985. Stanford Kay holds a BFA from Pratt Institute, earned between 1970 and 1974.
