Gilbert R.

Gilbert R. is an experienced Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in developing e-commerce solutions using modern frameworks such as Shopify Hydrogen and Remix. Currently at Complex NTWRK, Gilbert is leading the migration of Complex's Shopify storefront to a headless architecture, enhancing the user experience. Previously, at Fashion Nova, Gilbert rapidly prototyped e-commerce sites and designed automation processes for deployment while collaborating on mobile application adaptations. At Shopify, contributions included co-authoring a new feature for the Theme Editor and improving merchant experiences through custom React components. Earlier roles at Esri and Mira involved building enterprise applications, optimizing data handling with GraphQL, and employing innovative visualization techniques. Gilbert holds a Bachelor's degree from McDaniel College.
