Amy Peterson

Amy Peterson serves as a Script Editor at Complexly, working on well-known educational initiatives like SciShow and Crash Course since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Education Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of Natural History, where the focus was on volunteer coordination and content development for outreach materials. As a Graduate Student at Arizona State University, Amy developed and edited web content and coordinated a website relaunch project, alongside managing volunteers for educational outreach events. Previous roles also include an internship at the Smithsonian, where digital content for the Human Origins Program was edited, and an administrative assistant position at American University, supporting vital office operations. Amy holds an MA in Evolutionary Anthropology from Arizona State University and a BA in Physical and Biological Anthropology from New York University.
