Sam Schultz

Sam Schultz is a skilled director and producer specializing in art and design, currently serving as the Director of Art and Design and Producer at Complexly since June 2015. In this role, Sam oversees the production of the YouTube series SciShow, co-hosts and edits the podcast SciShow Tangents, and manages the SciShow: Universe Unboxed line of science kits. As an independent artist since January 2009, Sam has created and self-published various mini comics and webcomics while contributing illustrations for publications. Previous experience includes working as an artist for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where Sam collaborated on a full-length comic, and completing an internship at Fantagraphics Books focused on editing and archiving. Sam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation, Storyboarding, and Sequential Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master's degree in Art from the University of Montana.
