John Gertsakis

John Gertsakis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design, sustainability, and policy. Currently serving as the Director of the Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence, Gertsakis supports businesses in waste reduction and product lifecycle management. Additionally, Gertsakis holds positions as a Design Advisor for the Australian Design Council, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, a Good Design Ambassador for Good Design Australia, and a Director and Co-founder of the Ewaste Watch Institute. Contributions to Compliance and Risks as a Knowledge Partner highlight expertise in e-waste and regulatory compliance. Previous roles include Senior Policy Adviser at the Design Institute of Australia, Director of Communications at Equilibrium, and Manager of Communications and Outreach for the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association.
