Marko Sahan

Marko Sahan has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and natural language processing. Marko is currently employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at ComplyAdvantage since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher PHD Student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague from September 2020. Additionally, they have worked as a Natural Language Processing Engineer at Deep Discovery from February 2022 to July 2022. Marko also gained experience as a Natural Language Processing Engineer at Merlon.ai, where they were responsible for implementing deep learning entity relation text mining models and developing language rule based models in Scala and Python production code. Before that, they worked as a Consultant Data Analyst and Natural Language Processing Expert at Deloitte Central Europe from September 2017 to January 2019, where they were involved in text recognition and text mining projects. Marko also worked as an External Collaborator at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic from October 2016 to August 2018, conducting research projects on active learning for data classification and automative reconstruction of the radioactive cloud movement with terrain sensors.

Marko Sahan has a strong educational background in mathematics and computer science. Marko completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Czech Technical University in Prague in 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution and graduated in 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, working towards their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science, a program that they started in 2020. In addition to their academic degrees, Marko has also obtained a certification as a DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer from deeplearning.ai in September 2020.
