Tarek Nechma

Tarek Nechma is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ComplyCube, a company established in 2020 that specializes in identity verification and KYC solutions, aimed at facilitating compliance for organizations of all sizes in the digital economy. Prior to this role, Tarek served as the Head of Enterprise Data Tools & Insights at Barclays from 2017 to 2021, leading a team focused on developing tools for data management and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes positions as Programme Manager and Product Owner within Barclays Investment Bank from 2010 to 2017, where responsibility involved managing strategic regulatory projects such as MiFID II. Tarek's career began at Hewlett-Packard as a Research and Development Engineer in 2005. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Southampton.
