Harri Pynnä

Harri Pynnä has a long and accomplished history in the Finnish business world. Harri began their career in 1982 as a Vice President at Union Bank of Finland. Harri quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Senior Vice President and Head of Private Banking in 1990. In 1994 they transitioned to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where they served as an Industrial Counsellor for four years. In 1998 they joined Fortum as Head of Company Development, and they remained with the company for 16 years until 2014. During their time at Fortum, Pynnä was responsible for capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, asset management, investments, venture capital, board work, and corporate governance. In 2014 they joined Componenta as a Board Member, where they remain today. Throughout their career, Pynnä has been an influential figure in the Finnish business world, playing a major role in the development of some of Finland’s largest companies.

Harri Pynnä holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Turku. In addition, they have completed the Business Management and Administration Programme at the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology, as well as the LIFIM Business Management and Administration Programme in Corporate Management.
