Marcus Engman

Marcus Engman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Marcus began their career as a Purchaser at Mercamer Oy in 1996. Marcus then worked as a Sales Manager at TFGI Transfracht GmbH & Co. KG from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they served as an Export Manager at Prysmian Group, where they were responsible for sales and marketing in various regions.

In 2005, Marcus joined Ensto Oy as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Ensto Utility Networks, overseeing global sales and marketing operations. Marcus then held the position of CEO at Lumi Group Oy in 2011, managing the company's success in the LED street light market.

Marcus joined Newergy Oy in 2012 as the Vice President of Business Development, where they played a key role in the early phase development of the renewable energy production company. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Fortaco Group Oy as the Vice President of Sales and later as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales. In these roles, they managed key account management, sales operations, and marketing for the company.

From 2017 to 2022, Marcus served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Fortaco Group Oy, focusing on marketing, sales, and key account management. Marcus then moved on to become the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Temet in 2022, responsible for sales, business development, and marketing. Currently, Marcus is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Componenta Oyj since 2023, where they oversee marketing, sales, and account management.

Marcus Engman received their Master of Science (Econ.) degree in International Marketing from the Turku School of Economics and Business Administration. Marcus attended the school from 1991 to 1996. In addition, they participated in the ERASMUS program at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 1994 to 1995. Marcus Engman also obtained a certification in "Ownership and Board Work" training from Boardman Oy in May 2019.
