Schalk Pienaar

Schalk Pienaar is an experienced professional with a background in business development, growth and innovation, learning and development, and content creation. Schalk is currently the Founder and CEO of Nexefy, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Business Development Consultant, Senior Vice President | Growth & Innovation, Senior Vice President | Learning & Development, and Chief Content Officer at Compono from 2020 to 2022. From 2010 to 2020, Schalk was the Founder and CEO of Clui, an award-winning cloud-based training delivery platform. From 2007 to 2010, Schalk was the Founder and CEO of Croomo | Inspiring Learning Experiences, where they developed and managed a wide range of marketing tools. In 2015, Schalk was a member of the Lord Mayor's Economic Development Steering Committee at Brisbane Marketing. From 2004 to 2007, Schalk was the Group Communication and Multi Media Specialist at Samancor Chrome / BHP Billiton / Kermas Ltd.

Schalk Pienaar studied Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University from 1998 to 2002, earning a B.Eng degree.
