Michael Lekhmus

Michael Lekhmus serves as the Vice President of Security Operations at CompoSecure, where they implement comprehensive security programs designed to protect critical assets across various environments, including Operational Technology and cloud infrastructures. Previously, Lekhmus held key roles at organizations such as the National Security Agency, where they led cybersecurity teams and developed strategies for incident response and vulnerability management. A combat infantry veteran, Lekhmus has a strong background in military operations and cybersecurity, with expertise in managing teams and designing security architectures. They hold certifications such as the GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner and CISSP, and recently completed a Master’s Certificate in Incident Response from the SANS Technology Institute.
