Mimaroğlu

Cem Mimaroğlu is a founder and managing partner of ComposeVC, where since September 2018, the focus has been on investing in seed and Pre-Series A startups within the intersection of Real Estate, Construction, and Infrastructure in North America. Previously, from September 2016 to December 2018, Cem served as an Operating Partner and LP at TR.PE, Turkey's first global-expansion VC fund, providing investment, mentorship, and operational support to portfolio companies. Additional experience includes General Manager of WebNak at Aslanoba Group, leading the launch of Turkey's largest BtoB shipping marketplace, and Head of the loyalty platform and payment services at Boyner Grup. Cem also held the position of Turkish Region CEO and Biz Dev Partner at Meniga Rewards, contributing to a Series B funding and subsequent acquisition. Cem holds an MBA in Financial and Entrepreneurial Management from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree with a double major from Carnegie Mellon University.
