Paul Velut

Paul Velut is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Product Application & Operation Manager at CompPair Technologies Ltd. since March 2021, focusing on innovative healable composites. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions at Flyability, including Mechanical Team Manager and Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a team in product development and managing the protective system for the Elios drone. Earlier experience includes roles at Decision SA as a Design Engineer working on high-end composites, at EPFL as a Research Engineer developing composite manufacturing processes, and at TEUCHOS and Airbus in stress engineering and FEA calculations. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and a BEng in Yacht and Powercraft Design from Solent University.
