Peter May is the Group Head of Tax at Compre Group, bringing 20 years of experience in UK, EMEA, and US taxes within the non-life insurance sector. They have successfully built and managed teams both onshore and offshore, maintained relationships with key external stakeholders, and resolved tax authority audits across various jurisdictions. Previously, Peter held leadership roles at Aspen Insurance Group, The Ardonagh Group, and Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, contributing significantly as a tax strategist and business partner. They began their career as a Tax Accountant at Nomura International after earning their foundational education at Chislehurst & Sidcup Grammar School.
