Matilda Ekström

Matilda Ekström has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matilda currently works at Comprend as a Digital Communications Consultant, where they advise corporate companies on brand and communications strategies. Matilda'srole involves researching market trends, analyzing data, and conducting workshops to inform communication strategies. Prior to this, Matilda worked as a Copywriter and Web Editor at Comprend, where they wrote SEO-friendly copy for various channels and industries. Matilda also worked on branding, website copy, strategy decks, and social media projects. Before joining Comprend, Matilda worked as a Web Editor, performing content updates for client websites and writing articles for internal marketing.

In addition to their experience at Comprend, Matilda also worked as a Swedish Teacher at Students' Union UCL in 2020. Matilda served as a premium level contact and Customer Care Professional at American Express from 2015 to 2017, where they provided exceptional customer service and trained new staff. Prior to this, Matilda held roles as a Catering Assistant at Compass Group in 2015 and at Sahlgrenska University Hospital during summers in 2013, 2014, and 2018. Matilda'sresponsibilities included cleaning, serving food, and delivering blood tests.

Matilda Ekström began their education in 2011 at Lerums gymnasium, where they obtained a Gymnasieexamen (A-level equivalent) with a focus on Natural Sciences in 2014. In 2015, they attended the University of Gothenburg for a freestanding course in English Language and Literature.

Continuing their education, Matilda enrolled at UCL in 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature. Matilda completed this degree in 2021. During their time at UCL, they also participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Valencia from 2019 to 2020, focusing on Literature and Languages.

Furthermore, Matilda acquired First Aid certification from Students' Union UCL in October 2018.
