Michal Chomo

Michal Chomo started their career in 2015 as a C programmer at ASIPEM s.r.o. Michal then worked as a SW Developer at Aliacte s.r.o., where they created an information system and an Android application. In 2016, they joined GreyCortex as a Java Developer, initially focusing on front-end development and later transitioning to back-end development. During this time, they gained experience with agile software development and tools like Jira and Confluence, as well as Git, Bash, and Python. In 2018, Michal joined SolarWinds as a Developer for their log management and analysis SaaS product, Loggly. Michal worked with technologies such as Java, Spring framework, Python, Git, Bash, Docker, AWS, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Ansible. Michal then took on the role of Senior Developer, working on microservices for a new project using Kotlin, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and various AWS products. Michal was responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new functionality while maintaining high code quality. Michal also handled customer issues and incidents related to Loggly. More recently, in 2022, Michal joined Comprimato as a Senior Software Engineer.

Michal Chomo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Michal further pursued their education at the same university and received a Master's Degree in Information Technology Security from 2016 to 2019. In 2017, Michal also attended Tallinn University for a brief period to study Human-Computer Interaction. Prior to their university studies, Michal attended Gymnazium Liptovský Hrádok from 2005 to 2013, where they focused on Information Technology. Additionally, they earned the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in October 2021.
