The Gyroscopic Rig Alignment Device (G-RAD) provides an innovative way to accurately determine the azimuth and inclination of drill collars during or after rig installation. 

G-RAD uses Fiber Optic Gyroscopic technology to obtain geographic North azimuth to ±0.2° and inclination to ±0.1°. The G-RAD can operate either underground or on the surface.
G-RAD is designed to be used in high traffic terrain. Includes durable iPad with touch screen. Connects via Bluetooth.

When used during the installation of the drilling machine the G-RAD can be mounted on drill rods or in the tower. The operator can use the continuous reading of the terrain computer to realign the drilling in real time and ensure the accurate installation of the collar.
