Kristopher Mizel, CSP, CRIS

Kristopher Mizel, CSP, CRIS, has over nine years of experience in safety consulting. Kristopher began their career in 2012 as a Safety Consultant for Samsung Electronics. In 2013, they joined Assurance as a Safety Consultant II, providing employee safety and health consulting services to clients. In 2016, they moved to Sentry as a Senior Safety Consultant. In 2019, they were promoted to Vice President of Risk Control at Captive Resources, LLC. In 2020, they founded Mizel Safety Consulting, where they currently serve as Owner. Most recently, in 2021, Kristopher was appointed Head of Loss Control at CompScience.

Kristopher Mizel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Safety from Illinois State University between 2008 and 2012. In 2013, they obtained an Illinois Property and Casualty Producer from the Illinois Department of Insurance. In 2014, they obtained a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist, CRIS from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI). In 2015, they obtained a Construction Health and Safety Technician, CHST from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In 2016, they obtained an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer - General Industry from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA. In 2017, they obtained an Associate Safety Professional, ASP from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Safety Professional, CSP from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
