Ellie Brown

Ellie Brown is a Senior Research Fellow at Orygen since October 2018, also serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne since May 2018. With extensive experience in mental health, Ellie has worked as a Guidance Expert at ComPsych since September 2014, providing counselling and employee assistance program services. Previously, Ellie coordinated clinical trials at Deakin University and served as a Senior Research Associate at the University of the West of England on a major NIHR-funded project focusing on NHS Mental Health Crisis Services. Earlier roles include Trainee Counselling Psychologist at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and Research Assistant/Assistant Psychologist at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Ellie holds a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of the West of England, a PGCert in Psychodynamic Counselling from the University of Oxford, and a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol.
