Michael J. Read is an experienced professional in employee mental health and education, currently serving as an Employee Mental Health Facilitator under contract with ComPsych since September 2018. With a focus on behavioral health, employee wellness, and work-life balance, over 1,800 professional development workshops have been facilitated. Prior experience includes a decade-long role as Education Director and Multi-Generational Volunteer Team Manager at Church on the Queensway, where recruitment, training, and performance management of over 1,500 volunteers and staff were effectively executed. Additionally, Michael held the position of South Western Ontario Regional Resource Consultant at Parasource Marketing & Distribution, focusing on client needs assessments and training workshops across Canada. Academic qualifications include an Advanced Masters Certificate in Adult Training and Development (candidate) from Schulich ExecEd and a Bachelor's degree in Cross-Cultural Education from Masters College.
