Joseph Alim

Joseph Alim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In their most recent position as the VP of Product & Operations at Compt, they are responsible for managing and overseeing product development and operational activities. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Product and Customer Experience at Compt, where they focused on building and scaling perk stipends to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

Joseph also worked as a Product Core Leader at Underscore VC, where they contributed to the development and growth of the product. Joseph co-founded ScholarJet, where they served as the COO and played a significant role in connecting employers with entry-level talent through skills-based competitions.

In their earlier career, Joseph gained experience in project management as a Co-Op at Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group. Joseph also held Co-Op positions at Instron, where they worked on sustaining engineering and tissue engineering projects, and at GE Aviation as a Manufacturing/Quality Intern.

Additionally, Joseph demonstrated leadership skills as the Northeastern University SASE Chapter President at the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE). Throughout their work experience, Joseph has consistently shown a strong commitment to driving innovation, operational excellence, and promoting diversity and inclusivity.

Joseph Alim has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management from Northeastern University. Prior to this, they obtained their high school education at Brooklyn Technical High School, where they focused on a Biomedical/Medical Engineering concentration.
