Diego Vargas is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in cloud computing and Linux systems. Currently serving as an Azure Linux Senior Escalation Engineer at Microsoft since April 2018, Diego has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including outreach and education and development positions. Additionally, Diego contributes to CompTIA as a Subject Matter Expert for Linux and serves on the Technical Advisory Committee. Prior experience includes roles as a professor at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Cloud Lead Architect at DXC Technology, and various engineering positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP. Diego holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
