Max McGrath

Max McGrath is a senior IT professional with extensive experience in IT security architecture and operations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of IT Security Architecture and Operations at Amgen since October 2023, Max has also contributed as a Technical Advisory Committee Board Member and Subject Matter Expert at CompTIA since June 2016. Previously held the position of Senior Manager at Horizon until October 2023, and earlier served as Infrastructure and Security Manager and Network Administrator at Carthage College for 16 years. Max has a solid teaching background at Gateway Technical College, imparting knowledge in server administration, web programming, and networking. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Carthage College, and two Associate's degrees from Gateway Technical College in Network Specialist and Microcomputer Specialist.
