Comptoir Bakery began as a humble market stall in the iconic Borough Market and has since grown into one of London’s most beloved bakery cafés. Guided by traditional recipes passed down through generations, our talented chefs and bakers create each rustic sandwich, flaky pastry and indulgent dessert by hand, every morning in our open-plan kitchen on Maltby Street, London.

We believe that quality starts with care, from sourcing the finest British and French ingredients to ensuring every product embodies the perfect balance of flavour, texture, and freshness. Whether it’s a buttery croissant, a silky pain au chocolat or moist loaf cake, each item reflects our commitment to excellence and our love for French baking and patisserie.
