Marcus Plows

Marcus Plows is a seasoned professional in the business rates sector, currently serving as Partner and Head of Business Rates at Compton since May 2025. Previously, Marcus held positions including Non Executive Director at The Fitzrovia Partnership from April 2024 to May 2025 and a series of roles at The Office Group from July 2016 to May 2025, culminating in the Head of Business Rates. Earlier experience includes serving as a Business Rates Officer at the London Borough of Camden from September 2013 to July 2016, where Marcus contributed to the collection of over £540 million in revenue. Marcus began the career as a Sales Advisor at Evans Cycles (UK) Ltd from May 2008 to September 2010. Marcus holds a degree in International Relations and Politics from the University of Plymouth, earned between 2010 and 2013, and completed education at Mill Hill County High School from 2002 to 2009.
