Derek Roberts

Derek Roberts is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical support and field service. Currently serving as a Field Technician II at Compucom since April 2021, Derek is responsible for troubleshooting and servicing technical equipment while providing customer support during field visits. As an Independent Contractor at Field Nation since February 2017, responsibilities include network cable installation, desktop support, and hardware repairs. Previously, Derek held positions as an IT Technician for the City of Marion, a Senior Technician at Valvoline, and a Microcomputer Support Specialist at Southern Illinois University. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Southern Illinois University, complemented by a high school diploma from Providence St. Mel School.
