Eric Barner

Eric Barner is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in systems administration, server engineering, and technical support. Currently serving as a Systems Administrator III at CompuCom since April 2013, Eric maintains a diverse technology infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and Citrix environments. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Savi Technology, where Eric deployed virtual environments for software testing, and a Windows Administrator at FunMobility, responsible for server deployment and patching. Experience also includes work as a Systems Engineer at Microsoft, supporting large server farms, and performing critical backups and system support as a Systems Administrator at Epiphany. Eric began a career in technology after serving in the U.S. Army as a Fire Control Repairer, where skills in equipment repair and battlefield assessments were developed. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute and additional training from Global Knowledge and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
