Avi Cohen

Avi Cohen Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Avi currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Pharmaseed Ltd. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of Research & Drug Discovery at Compugen. Avi also worked at Atox Bio, where they held the role of Director of Non-Clinical Safety and Immunogenicity and Manager of Non-Clinical Safety. Before their time at Atox Bio, they held various positions at Pharmaseed Ltd, including Vice President of Research and Development, Director of In-Vivo Pharmacology Department, and Senior Study Director. Avi has also served as an independent scientific consultant at Bioetz and as the Head of Global search & evaluation of branded products for licensing in autoimmune & other TA at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Avi'searly career includes roles as a Pharmacology Leader at Aposense and as a Project Manager at Proneuron.

Avi Cohen Ph.D. obtained a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 1991. They then pursued a postdoctoral degree in Neurobiology at the Montreal General Hospital - Research Institute from 1991 to 1995. Avi Cohen Ph.D. also completed a postdoctoral degree in Immunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1995 to 1998.
