Roy Granit

Roy Granit is an accomplished bioinformatics and computational discovery expert with extensive experience in cancer immunotherapy and machine learning. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Computational Discovery at Compugen since September 2020, Roy leads a multidisciplinary team to identify new drug targets and develop proprietary computational platforms. Previous roles include Bioinformatics & Machine-Learning Consultant at Barcode Diagnostics and co-founder of Academix.bio and LabWorm, where Roy advanced bioinformatics techniques and created innovative data solutions. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Research from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Roy has also contributed to clinical genomics at the Translational Genomics Unit and has a robust academic background in cell biology and genomics.
