Jasmin Roy

Level Design Director at Compulsion Games

Jasmin Roy has extensive experience in level design for various gaming companies. Jasmin is currently serving as the Level Design Director at Compulsion Games since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ubisoft Montréal from 2012 to 2022, starting as a Level Designer for Watch Dogs and eventually becoming the Level Design Director for an undisclosed project. Before that, they worked as a Level Designer at THQ from 2011 to 2012 and at Eidos from 2008 to 2011, where they contributed to games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Thief 4. Jasmin started their career at Artificial Mind and Movement in 2007, designing levels for games such as Wet and various projects for the Nintendo DS.

Jasmin Roy's education history begins in 2000 when they attended the Cegep of Saint-Hyacinthe. They pursued a degree in Cinematography and completed their DEC in 2003. Following this, in 2003, Jasmin enrolled at the Université du Québec à Montréal and obtained a Certificate in Screenwriting by the end of 2004. In 2006, they attended Campus Ubisoft where they pursued an AEC degree in Level Design, completing their studies in 2007.
