John Mramba

ohn Marmba joined the CompuLynx board in September 2016. Mr. Marmba brings over 38 years of experience in the technology industry.

He serves as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) Pension Fund and the Vice-Chair of the Council of the Flying Doctors Society of Africa.

Most recently, served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC); Communication Concepts Limited; Mobil Oil Kenya Community Programme; University of Nairobi-School of Journalism Alumni Association and the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK).

Before this, Mr Marmba served on other boards including the Board of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) and St. Luke’s Hospital, Kaloleni in Mombasa.

In addition to his services in governance, he is the former Secretary-General of the Federation of African Public Relations Associations (FAPRA) as well as a member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA). He was the Managing Director /CEO of Communication Concepts Limited (CCL); Director of Information and Communications at the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF); the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) and at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE).
