Michael Pickard has a long and varied career in marketing. Michael began their career in 1994 as an Account Manager at Target Marketing. In 2002, they moved to M5 Marketing Communications as the Director of Strategic Planning. Three years later, in 2005, they joined Memorial University of Newfoundland as the Associate Director of Marketing. In 2011, they returned to M5 Marketing Communications as the Senior Vice-President of Strategy, and in 2019 they became the Marketing Director at Compusult Limited, a world-leading tech company specializing in geospatial software. In this role, they hold responsibility for major marketing functions, business development, and management of the corporate brand.
Michael Pickard attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1987 to 1994, where they obtained a B. Comm. (Hons) in Marketing. Michael then went on to Memorial University of Newfoundland to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General.
