Adam Shaw has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Adam started their career at Capgemini as a Data-Centre Operator, where they were responsible for ensuring the smooth running of batch jobs and backups on clients' servers. Adam then worked at Northern Foods as an IT Systems Operator, where they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems. After that, they joined Computacenter as a Global Systems Analyst, providing remote support and diagnostics. Adam later progressed to roles such as Senior Global Support Analyst and Wintel Technical Support Analyst before becoming a 3rd Line Wintel Support Analyst, where they acted as a subject matter expert and technical escalation point for Rolls-Royce, managing incidents and supporting a large user base and Windows server infrastructure. Currently, they are working at Computacenter as a Wintel Technical Lead on the Rolls-Royce Account, managing and maintaining cloud identity solutions and ensuring accurate documentation.
Adam Shaw attended Dearne ITeC from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an NVQ 2 in Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended Wath Comprehensive School from 1995 to 1997 and obtained their GCSE. Additionally, Adam Shaw has obtained various certifications from institutions such as Microsoft Plc., Cisco, and CompTIA. Some of these certifications include MCTS - TS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Server Virtualization, CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching, and CompTIA Server+.
