Chris Newby

Chris Newby has extensive experience in change and release management within the managed services sector, currently serving as the Head of Change & Release Management at Computacenter since November 2013. Previously, Chris held the role of Operations Manager focusing on networks, build, and hardware lifecycle management, overseeing services for over 600 customers. Earlier positions include roles in technical innovation and project support related to BAA IT and London Heathrow's Airline Relocations project. Chris also contributed to operational integration at BAA's Terminal 5 and managed major incidents as the Head of Major Incident Management. Educational background includes a Higher National Diploma in IT and Business from the City of Sunderland, completed between 1998 and 2001.
