Stig Halvorsen

Stig Halvorsen is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and leadership. Currently, Stig serves as Chief Technologist and Senior Consultant at Computas AS since November 2015. Previously, Stig held various prominent roles at Opera Software from December 2000 to August 2015, including Lead Software Architect, Group Manager for the Core Docxs group, and Technical Leader responsible for managing teams and internal projects. Stig also contributed as an employee-elected board member on the Board of Directors at Opera Software ASA and worked as a Software Engineer focusing on browser features for the Presto browser engine. Stig began the career as an intern at Fast Search & Transfer ASA and holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 1999.
