Samson Lee has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering. Samson started their career as a Project Manager Software Architect Lead Programmer for NAA Inc. in 1992 before moving on to Softkey Software, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Architect, and Project Leader, designing and developing SwifTax for DOS and Windows 3.1 platforms. In 1994, they joined Computer Associates as a Project Leader, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Architect, where they developed Simply Tax for Windows using Borland C++ and Visual C++. Samson also worked closely with the IRS to develop and test Electronic Filing and 1040PC. In 1996, they became a Project Leader and Senior Software Engineer at CDTitles before transitioning to a Senior-level Software Engineer Contractor at Motorola, where they designed and developed a network application using Shlaer-Mellor, Visual C++, STL, Java, and ClearCase. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at 3Com, developing installer/configuration wizards for ISDN and business class analog modems, as well as web applications for firmware management. Samson then joined U.S. Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer IV from 2000 to 2009, where they designed and developed installer/configuration wizards and applications for wireless routers, APs, and client adapters. As a Freelance Contractor/Software Developer for U.S. Robotics from 2009 to 2010, they provided software development, support, maintenance, and QA testing on a per-job basis. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at 360Facility as a Software Developer, designing and developing enterprise-level WCF web services, multi-threaded windows services, and MS-SQL 2008 code for a SaaS-based facilities management software. Since 2013, they have been working at Computer Information Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer.
Samson Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Prior to that, they attended Sullivan High School from 1975 to 1979, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field of study at that time.
