Kayla Wheeler

Kayla Wheeler, PMP, is an experienced IT Project Manager currently assigned to the NYS DOH, NYSoH Project at Computer Technology Services since August 2022. Previously, Kayla co-founded Thistle Downs Farm, focusing on agricultural education and sustainability through agritourism from November 2007 to October 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a Performance Consultant at Frontline Performance Group, a Small Business HCM Consultant at ADP, and a Station Manager at Enterprise Holdings. Earlier in the career, Kayla was a Bovine Podiatrist Assistant at Hawkins Bovine Podiatry and an Agribusiness Analyst Intern at AgFirst NZ Ltd, gaining skills in on-farm management, environmental management, and financial analysis. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business and Management from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill.
